Kedron Brook Catholic Community

The Encounter Kids Program is a day event for primary school aged children (Prep - Grade 6). This day is filled with fun, games, activities and engaging messages and prayers designed to give children a positive and powerful experience of the Catholic faith.

Facilitated by vibrant leaders, ECK provides high-quality Catholic children’s ministry with games and music, engaging presentations and activities, small groups and interactive prayers experiences through which children encounter God and build connections with the Church community.

Time: 10:45am - 3:00pm

Join us for Mass first at 9:30am followed by Morning Tea

Where: St Columba’s Catholic Church, Wilston

How Much?

Single Child: $30

2 or more children in the same family: $55

What to bring

The ECK Team and the Kedron Brook Catholic Community have developed a program that is full of engaging games, activities, crafts and prayer experiences. The parish will cater for morning tea and lunch (if you have dietaries please bring your own lunch)

See list below for what your child/children are required to bring:

Children to bring

  • Water bottle

  • Hat and Sunscreen

  • Any Medication with the name clearly labelled (indicated to ECK Staff through Parent Consent Form)

  • Closed in shoes and sun smart clothing

  • Clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty

  • Packed lunch if you have dietary requirements
